How does virtual training work exactly?
If you have a dedicated coach, they will be there to support you, guide you and cheer you on via real-time messaging in the StrongPath app. They’ll send you workouts each day, so all you have to do is log in and complete them! Not sure how to do a workout? No worries. You can ask your coach or watch our in-app video exercises. And if you want to take your training to the next level, you can sign up for one-on-one Pro sessions with your coach, where they will walk you through your workout as you’re completing it and provide you with real-time feedback.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes! If you aren’t happy with StrongPath, we’ll be sad to see you go, but you can cancel or downgrade your membership at any time. No strings attached.
What if I don’t have a gym to go to? Do I need equipment?
Nope! We’ve got a ton of exercises that you can do with little or no equipment, from bodyweight exercises to resistance band exercises, yoga, and much more. We know that the best workout is the one that you do, so we make it easy for you to get it done.
Who sees my health data?
You only have to share the information that you’re comfortable with. If you do decide to share your health data with your coach, they’ll be able to personalize your workouts further based on that data and serve as part of your virtual care team. For example, if your blood pressure or BMI goes up one day, your coach will be able to tailor your workouts, nutrition plan and stress management programs accordingly. They see only what you want them to see.
What’s the time commitment?
StrongPath adapts to your schedule, so you only have to commit to what you feel is realistic. We also understand that you’re busy and things come up—so your coach can make any adjustments as needed.
How does exercise help fight chronic disease?
Many studies have shown that exercise is one of the best preventions for chronic disease, such as hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. Harvard Medical School claims that “exercise has a bigger impact on disease risk than just about any other remedy.”
What if I already have sarcopenia? Can it be reversed?
Strength training, combined with a healthy diet, can help increase muscle mass and at least partly reverse the effects of sarcopenia. But the sooner you start fighting it, the better.
